ICT for Civil Engineering in China: Application of Case-based Reasoning on Structural Preliminary Design

摘要

The great number of construction projects in China provide a best environment for the development of Informationand Communications Technology in general and of Artificial Intelligence Technology in particular. Besides explanation of the recent problems in CAD of China and the technology of Casebased Reasoning, in the present paper, the key techniques of an expert system on structural preliminary design for high-rise buildings on Casebased Reasoning, Hipred-3, are introduced and its application in design practice is also given.
