PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a civil engineering structural unit capable of preventing the damage of a suction prevention sheet and performing horizontal slip on the suction prevention sheet.;SOLUTION: In the civil engineering structural unit 3 attaching a plurality of natural stones 5 on the surface of a wire net 4 using bolts 15 respectively, the rhombic wire net forming a step H between a plurality of first division elements 6 and a plurality of second division elements 7 as a mesh eight-division element is used, and washers 14 are provided so as to mount the adjacent first division elements between the adjacent second division elements 7 to connect the washers 14 through the bolts 15 on the natural stones 5, which are fixed on the surface of the wire net 4.
