Study on Energy Saving and Emission Reduction of Asphalt Mixing Plant

How to deal with the relationship between people and resources environment is a common issue that mankind faces. With the concept of sustainable development gained ground, it becomes an important tool to ease the grim situation which energy supply and environmental protection are facing. Currently, all sectors of society have strong responses to the sustainable development calls, they have implemented the measures of energy saving and emission reduction actively and practically, and also have achieved some benign effects and good responses. This paper takes asphalt mixing plant as an example, which is known as a large energy consumption and environmental pollution, to discuss the problems existing in the construction process, and put forward some measures on energy saving and emission reduction in the construction of asphalt mixing plant by analyzing the data of its fuel energy consumption and emissions, such as using the new energy — CNG as a fuel, and providing a new direction for the sustainable development of highway construction industry.
