Application of Single-Chip DSP to Digital Sound Processing in DBS

摘要

The method of digital sound transmission has been used for BS-2 DBS and will be used for the other new DBSs which will adopt MAC system. This paper befins with a general review of digital sound signal processing called Near-instantaneously companding Audio Coding Mark-3 (NICAM 3). The authors proposed to apply TMS32010 DSP to realize this processing. This paper describles the design of hardware and software for whole system. The feasibility of this scheme and design have been proved with experiment.
