Current Situation and Proposals of Production Practice of Engineering Specialty

Production Practice is a very important component in practical teaching of engineering students. The students can not only make learned basic theoretical knowledge, professional knowledge and actual productions effectively combine, more importantly, but also train the abilities of problem -discovering, problem-analyzing and problem-solving problems and engineering practice ability. From the facing current problems of production practice of engineering specialty, which include that the enterprises are unwilling to receive, the production practice is short, student awareness is not enough and practice teachers are unstable, several recommendations that are establishing a stable practice base through cooperate with universities, improving the production practice importance awareness of student, enhancing teachers training and adopting a variety of practice models are proposed based on the production practice of Machine Design, Manufacture and Automation Specialty in Chongqing Jiaotong University, which can provide a valuable refer for improving production practice quality of engineering college.
