摘要

A new multi-scale computational method under real meteorological conditions was proposed and applied to downbursts related high intensity winds in this paper.A comprehensive regional to storm scale atmospheric modelling/prediction system-Advanced Regional Prediction(ARPS)is adopted to simulate the mesoscale meteorological field with NCEP/NCAR Reanalysis,which can provide the initial filed data for three-dimensional hailstorm cloud model.Then,a three-dimensional hailstorm cloud model is used to simulate the formation and evolution of downbursts by using relatively coarse grids.Finally,a CFD model with relatively fine grids is finally utilized with all necessary input data from the meteorological cloud model to gain fine wind field characteristics of the downburst.It is an exploration research with combination the research methods of meteorology and wind engineering,which will help study the wind field characteristics of downburst under the mechanism of downburst formation and diffusion.
