摘要

Double skin composite wall is a new type of lateral force-resisting system for high-rise buildings,which comprises two steel plates connected by tie bars and an infill of high strength concrete.Finite element models of double skin composite walls were constructed based on OpenSees software using fibre elements.The analytical results showed good agreements with the cyclic test results.Analytical studies were performed to examine the seismic performance of double skin composite walls.Axial force ratio,shear span ratio,steel ratio and type of boundary columns were taken as major variables.The deformation capacity of the walls increased with an increase in steel ratio and shear span ratio,decreased with an increase in the applied axial force ratio.The stiffness and load carrying capacity of walls increased when steel ratio increased and shear span ratio decreased.Double skin composite wall with end columns had larger deformation and energy dissipation than the wall with concealed columns.
