摘要

In this paper a method for estimation of heart rate,rnrespiratory rate and motion by using optic-fibre wrapperrnaround person's chest is performed along withrnsimultaneous acquisition from attached referential bodyrnsensors, i.e. ECG, nasal thermal respiration sensor andrntwo accelerometers. Optical fibre with an interferometerrnis a sensitive device that detects physical changes of thernlength of optical fibre. When wrapped around the chest orrnembedded in the clothes, heartbeats, respiration andrnmotion causes its perturbation, that allow entirelyrnunobtrusive monitoring of person's heart rate byrnprocessing captured interferometric signal. An experimentrnwith 4 subjects was performed. Signals were acquiredrnduring sequential walking and resting periods for eachrnsubject. The obtained results confirm good estimation ofrnmotion events and satisfying estimation of heart andrnrespiratory rate, which is are more successful duringrnresting periods.
