摘要

The purpose of this article is to introduce a new technique for parameter identificationrnof thin layer drying. Drying experiments were performed in the pilot-plant drier ofrnDepartment. Process parameters were collected by a data acquisition system. Arnsimplified mathematical model has been developed in order to describe thernsimultaneous heat and mass transport processes of thin layer drying. The model containsrnthe well-known types of the equilibrium relative humidity (ERH) models of the materialrncommonly used in foodstuffs and agricultural industry. For the given model the heatrnand mass transport coefficients have been determined by off-line parameterrnidentification. The identification method contains the selection of the ERH models andrnthe parameter estimation of the chosen ERH model as well.
