TMBP (tin mill black plate) surface roughness affects the adhesiveness of tin coat, stamping properties and surta.ee gloss alter tinning. Big difference between sun ace gloss can lead to color difference after printing. On the basis of existing roughness grades, this paper is aimed at adjusting TMBP suiface roughness by considering the difference between suiface gloss , based on 1420 two-stand temper mill of CAPL and tinning line in certain factory. The quantitative relation between tinpkte surface glossiness and TMBP surface roughness is established and the range of TMBP surface roughness is suggested based on field measurement and date analysis. By field sampling,TIMBP during temper rolling is obtained, TMBP suiface roughness prediction model is established and matching engineering procedure is formulated. These are verified. by field experiment. Control accuracy of TMBP surface roughness is remarkably improved and color difference alter roll spreading is effectively removed after these methods are put into operation.
