Fuzzy Inference Approach to Recognition of Chinese Speakers

摘要

The method of fuzzy inference is applied to the problem of speaker recognition. Semantic features employed include spectral distributions, pitch period distributions, and ratio of duration of voiced to unvoiced segments. Fuzzy inference rules are derived from the training utterances. Experimental results for 10 speakers show that the method is very effective for speaker recognition.
