Research on trimaran stability in following waves by numerical calculation method

摘要

In order to find the trimaran stability characters in following waves,this paper makes some research on the calculation method of high speed trimaran stability in waves by introducing the concept of ship instantaneous floating condition.As for a high-speed trimaran,the stability in following sea is calculated and contrasted with the stability in calm water.The influence of wave factors such as wave height,wave length,ship-wave position and the wave angle on the trimaran stability in following waves is investigated,and the impact side hull position on the stability is also analyzed.The conclusion of the work is useful for the stability research and design of trimaran.
