Abstract: This paper introduces a variety of new techniques for holographic displays, offering an active time element for viewer dynamics. In interactive systems, viewers trigger dramatic changes in holographic images. Light and projection events alter the holograms in response to viewers' movements. Reconstruction light angle changes, digital video and computer-generated animation all play roles in these systems. LCD video projection onto holograms also led to a study of holographic screens suitable for color-coding depth into screens.!19
