The concept of an active network has been mentionedrnrecently to adapt to the large-scale implementation ofrndistributed generation. Distributed State Estimation is onernof the most important functions to enable this novelrnconcept. This paper proposes a completely decentralizedrnstate estimation (CDSE) method suitable for the activernnetwork. CDSE is based on multi-agent systemrntechnology to compute iteratively state variables, i.e.,rnvoltage magnitude and angle. The method will berncompared with the classical weighted least square methodrnin term of computation burden. As examples a 3-busrnsystem and the IEEE 14-bus network will be investigated.
