摘要

La_3Si_6N_(11):Ce was synthesized from the mixture of nitrides and oxides as raw materials at 1580 - 2000 ℃ under nitrogen atmosphere of 0.92 MPa. It was found that La_3Si_6N_(11):Ce emits yellow light at the excitation wavelength of 455 nm. When a small amount of oxygen was included in the raw materials, LaSi_3N_5:Ce tended to form more than La_3Si_6N_(11):Ce. Thermal quenching of the yellow emission of La_3Si_6N_(11):Ce was smaller than that of the conventional yellow phosphor, (Y.Gd)_3Al_5O_(12):Ce. It was clarified that La_3Si_6N_(11):Ce is suitable for a white LED constituting of a blue LED and a yellow phosphor.
