First concepts to develop indoor communication systemsrnoperating at frequencies beyond 300 GHz are currentlyrnunder development. In this paper an integrated simulationrnenvironment is introduced, where the system parameters ofrnfuture THz communication systems can be estimated underrnrealistic hardware and propagation conditions. It is shownrnhow this simulation environment can be used to determinernthe most critical parameters in the whole system and may bernused to derive requirements for the development ofrnhardware components. Exemplary simulation results takingrninto account various influence factors (different modulationrnschemes, antenna gains, wall materials) are presented.
