Many papers [1]-[4] have described different types of Three-Level Zero-Voltage-Switching (ZVS) invertersrnwhich base on the Multi-Level topology of the Neutral-Point-Clamped inverter [5]. In these invertersrnthe ZVS commutations have been realized by the utilizing of the parasitic MOSFET capacitors. In thisrnpaper these inverters (fig. 1) will be utilized with additional discrete snubber capacitors and their influencesrnwill be analyzed and compared.rnFurthermore, the dependency of the charge-reversal-times of these resulting capacitors on the resonantrnload current will be presented for the three different inverters.
