A Novel series of intelligent phase leg IGBT power modules in the LP8 package

The APTLGF is a new series of intelligent phase leg IGBT power modules integrated in the large LP8rnpackage. They feature current capabilities up to 400A and are specified for both 600V and 1200V ratings.rnTo achieve targeted applications like frequency converters or more complex power systems requiringrnswitching frequencies in the 10 kHz to 60 kHz range, both fast NPT and Trench and Field StoprnIGBTs are required. These modules integrate a gate drive opto-coupler driver with high current capabilityrnand an isolated DC to DC converter to feed the gate drivers. These modules require only a 5Vrnauxiliary power supply and two command signals to drive the phase leg configuration.
