Electron spin resonance (ESR) spectroscopy is a strong tool to investigate paramagnetic species. Structures, concentrations, and dynamics of paramagnetic compounds can be obtained from ESR measurements in the study of radical polymerizations. ESR has been applied to investigation of elementary processes of radical polymerizations.
