The world in which we work is constantly evolving, with global disruption from social and technological shifts causing the decline of many traditional professions. Students that graduate today could have up to five career changes and 17 different jobs in their lifetimes (Foundation for Young Australians 2015). Therefore young professionals need be adaptable and confident in venturing outside their original career paths. But how do you become adept at dealing with unpredictability? Explore what it's like to learn in a Volatile Uncertain Complex Ambiguous (VUCA) world by uncovering your own critical, creative and adaptive thinking skills. In this practical workshop, we will experience and unpack the skills and attributes needed to deal with unpredictability and consider the ways in which you can best prepare for an unpredictable future.
