The rapid growth of Information & CommunicationrnTechnologies (ICT) has enabled dramatic changes inrnthe ways knowledge-based enterprises work. Work hasrnbecome distributed across geographical locations andrntime zones. In addition enterprises have been goingrnthrough massive transformations of business processesrnand associated organizational structures. Therntransformation initiatives have yielded severalrnchallenges in creating productive work environmentsrnacross a mobile and virtual enterprise. Manyrnenterprises are interested in methods and tools forrnanalysis of workplace design and space acquisitionrninvestments. This paper summarizes a data collectionrnframework to explore linkages and trade offs betweenrnICT and workspaces in knowledge-based enterprises.
