摘要

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a major nenrodegenerative disorder leading to dementia in the elderly. We proposed a network-based systems biology approach to detect the dysfunctional crosstalk of pathways in six brain regions of AD disease patients. We identified the relationship between AD pathways and its neighbor pathways to investigate their intersections and relationships. The significance of pathways developed in the fatal disorders and the overlapping strength indicate the impacts of neighbor pathways to AD development. The crosstalk with AD pathways provides evidences for the particular tasks of important neighbor pathways as well as the associations between them.
