As drilling and subsea production move to ever-deeper waters,rngas charged accumulator capacity calculations must becomernmore sophisticated than the traditional ideal gas law methods.rnThis paper describes a mathematical model of high-pressurernaccumulators and the extensive laboratory tests carried out tornverify its accuracy when using both nitrogen and helium as thernprecharge gas.
