The essential information is the property of the environment and the placement of thernequipment in that environment and the location of noise receiver. Such information could be defined byrnthe manufacturer based on extensive marketing and engineering research. Or it could be defined casernby case for the specific end-user environment. The acoustic standard committee for the IT industry couldrnhelp standardize the parameters of several typical usage environments and provide ways forrnmanufacturer to derive the immission sound pressure level for the end-users of the products.
