Study of Problems with Noise and Sound Quality Evaluations of Copying Machines, Printers, and MFD

摘要

Copying machines, printers, and multi-function devices (MFDs) are products developed by the comprehensive technologies of electrophotography, ink, and handling paper, which are associated with specific phenomena. For these products, at present, there are some measurement standards for noises as well as sound quality parameters provided by specific software houses. In this paper, I will summarize more practical recommendations obtained from the study of problems, taking into consideration the above specific phenomena of these products.
