STUDY ON THE HIGH-PRESSURE MERCURY LAMP FOR REAR PROJECTION TV SETS

摘要

The lamp life of 5000hours is accomplished in our examinations by reducing impurities in the envelope of a high-pressure mercury lamp. Some of experimental results obtained in our study are applied to the long life mercury lamp for the rear projection TV set with the digital mirror device (DMD) that has already been put on the market in the United States since last year.
