摘要

We have fabricated hybrid aligned nematic liquid crystal cell driven by fringe electric field using the LC with positive dielectric anisotropy unlike previous cell using a LC with negative dielectric anisotropy. The new device shows improved response time and low driving voltage with high light efficiency.
