摘要

A participatory approach was used to create a computer ergonomics workshop for college students incorporating instructional systems design models and adult learning inquiry perspectives. The goal of this participatory ergonomic intervention was to involve students in solving computer ergonomic problems and adopting healthy computing behaviors ultimately reducing upper extremity disorders and accpmpanying symptoms. This approach appeared to be successful in creating a sense of ownership among the student developers and facilitators. Student trainees responded positively to the workshop.
