Case-based reasoning in airport terminal planning

摘要

Airport terminal planning is one of the crucial design stages of an airport because inappropriate design may lead to many undesirable situations. In order to avoid these situations, computer-based simulation is used. To do this process more efficiently, two reasoning paradigms, rule-based reasoning and case-based reasoning, were incorporated in the knowledge-based system supporting the simulation of the airport terminal planning.
