Intermetallic compounds can maintain their usual properties and stability at high temperature. Their resistance to oxidation and corrosion are strong, thus they are often used in high temperature operations and corrosive environment. Many aluminum-based intermetallic compounds have been studied and are being widely used. In this work, the reaction between the A1 powder and Mo powder was studied.
