The influence of limestone powder replacing partial fly ash on RCC performance such as workability, compressive strength, splitting strength, ultimate tension value was studied. Setting time, adiabatic temperature rise, shear strength, permeability and frost resistance performance of RCC with two kinds of limestone powder content were compared, and the action mechanism of limestone powder in RCC was analyzed by some test methods such as SEM, XRD, DSC/TG and MIP. The test results showed that the influence of limestone powder replacing partial fly ash on workability, permeability and the frost resistance of RCC was slight, the setting time of RCC shortened and adiabatic temperature rise reduced, but the mechanics performance of RCC reduced with limestone powder content increasing. Not only the limestone powder could act as filling material, also could accelerate the cement hydration at early age and react with C3A.
