APPLICATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF SHIELD IN GUANGZHOU METRO

摘要

Basic on engineering of Guangzhou metro line 1, 2 and 3, the paper summarizes the application and development of structure analysis of shield tunnel, profile design of segment, waterproof design of shield tunnel and technology of tunneling by shield in Guangzhou metro. Finally, the paper studies the prospect of the new technology and theory application in Guangzhou metro and point out what we should pay great attention, referring to the new development of technology and theory of shield. We hope it can give some useful experiences for design and construction of shield tunnel.
