The electrical conduction in Al/PPbs/Al with a both-side-sputterednPP (PPbs) film have been investigated using PP (polypropylene) filmsnprepared under various sputtering conditions. The conduction current innPPbs film under some conditions decreases by about two orders ofnmagnitude as compared with conventional PP. The thermally stimulatedncurrents (TSC) of an alkylbenzene PPs composite system with anone-side-sputtered PP (PPs) film reveal that traps on the PP surface arenaffected by sputtering, and that the PP sputtered under some conditionsnhas more semicrystalline regions near the PP surface than an untreatednPP film. The relationships between TSC and tan δ of thenalkylbenzene/PPs composite system have also been investigated. Thesenresults indicate that surface sputtering not only affects traps under anPP surface but also improves the electrical properties of PP
