This paper introduces a group-container gas supply system. This system is to replace the coal-burning or oil-burning systems, which emits large amount of destructive gas into the atmosphere and damages the environment tremendously. This system is intended to be used in those subdivisions and industrial zones, which are unfortunately not covered by the municipal gas supply network currently in Southern China. Furthermore, this system provides consistent gas supply with smaller investments and land occupation. Therefore for applications where constructing any large gas storage and supply stations is not feasible due to land and investment limitations, this system, which consists of both LPG(LNG) container set and gasifier, is appropriate, especially for users whose gas usage is approximately 1~26 × 10~6BTU per hour (23~460kg/hour). It is extremely important to keep the system safe because they are usually adjacent to residential and industrial construction areas. Therefore the system is equipped with gas leakage detection and alarm system, automatic gas cut-off system, and water spray fire control system to ensure the safety of the entire gas supply system.
