The purpose of this paper is to provide the reader with further insight into the methodology being adopted by Sofiyska Voda AD (SV) in tackling the issues currently facing the Company. In particular, the paper focuses on how SV plans to set up an optimised approach to the management of its assets. The desired optimum approach is that which maximises performance of the system whilst minimising financial expenditure and inconvenience to SV customers and which is in compliance with the requirements of the Concession Agreement (CA). This paper is focusing on the organisational and technical aspects associated with the first stages of the implementation of the management of the assets in the company.
