摘要

This paper aims to analyze options for the sustainable development for the Dead Sea Basin. It presents a model based on the green supply chain paradigm and multi-portfolio selection of strategies for sustainable development and mitigating environmental risks. The underlying assumption is that more sustainable development solutions exist than today's scenario of water treatment and distribution in the basin. The integrated sustainable water management model provides security and coordination of risks of the stakeholders in the basin. The developed model combines the economic, physical, and social conditions of water use in the region.
