摘要

Measurement of high frequency vibrations has become common place in predictive maintenance systems. However, there are unique problems associated with making, comparing, and interpreting these measurements. Unlike measurements made in the specified range of the accelerometer, high frequency measurements are affected by many things. Understanding these affects, will allow the analyst to better and more accurately utilize the data. This paper looks at the effects of sensor frequency response and mounting on high frequency measurements and takes an in depth look at demodulation, how it works, and why it is a useful tool.
