Institutional Framework, Inter Agency Coordination and Manpower Availability

The organisational and institutional set-up plays a crucial role in achieving the objectives of accelerated economic growth and consequently a better quality of life. Our present administrative structure is inherited from the British Raj and requires drastic restructuring to be able to fulfil the objectives of Equity and Social Justice. The Environmental Framework also needs to be tailored to be responsive to the needs of the people by making it thoroughly professional and result oriented.
