THE BUREAU OF RECLAMATION AND PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS IN DESALINATION AND MEMBRANE SEPARATION TECHNOLOGIES

The Water Quality Improvement Center (WQIC) enables researchers to investigate new andimproved water treatment technologies. The Center houses pilot-scale conventional and membraneprocess testing equipment. Several research projects have been conducted at the Center on acost-reimbursable basis since its grand opening in January 1997. This paper will discuss the variousReclamation projects and their contribution to the desalination and membrane separation industry orfield.
