Corn (or Maize) common name for the cereal widely grown for food and livestock fodder. Corn ranks with wheat and rice as one of the world's chief grain crops, and it is the largest crop of the United States, Brazil and Mexico. The corn harvest area in China is about 1/5 (21 million hectare) of total farming area and 1/4 of total grain yield. It is the second largest crop of China following wheat, with annual output of 1.2 --- 1.5 hundred million tons. Most of its crop is grown in the main corn production regions known as the Corn Belt comprised of Jilin, Shangdong, Helongjiang ,Liaoning, Hebei and Henai provinces etc. China is similar with the United States, 70% of corn used for feed, 20% used for processing, 10% for export to Korea, Japan and Southeast Asia etc. The Figurel for the Corn Yield in Main Land of China as follows: About 14-15 million tons of corn are processed in China every year. The characteristic of China corn processing as follow: large scale, long industry chain, high science technology, high quality of products, modernization of production level, good market and good benefits etc. It is a similar with abroad corn processing, China divides into wet milling, dry milling and direct processing.
