To verify the capacity of a manufacturing process to realize corresponding parts it is necessary to simulate the defects that it generates and to analyze the correspondence of produced parts with the functional tolerances. In a previous paper, a method was proposed to simulate the process and to determine its effect on the manufactured part in term of surfaces deviations. To do this, a model of the part named MMP (Model of the Manufactured Part) is virtually manufactured which allows stacking the defects created at each set-up of the process. This paper presents a generic method to determine the parameters of the MMP, especially those concerning the positioning deviation torsor of the part in the part-holder. This set of hierarchically arranged functions and constraints describing the manufactured part is then used in every case of tolerances analysis
