This document contains the profile for Congestion ControlIdentifier 3, TCP-friendly rate control (TFRC), in theDatagram Control Protocol (DCP). DCP implements a congestioncontrolledunreliable datagram flow suitable for use byapplications such as streaming media. The TFRC CCID is used byapplications that want a TCP-friendly send rate, possibly withExplicit Congestion Notification (ECN), while minimizingabrupt rate changes.
