FOCUSSING ON QUALITY AT M2 PAPER MACHINE

M2 Paper Machine has been on a quality and efficiency improvement journey over the last few years. A key focus in 2019 was to reduce our customer complaints and provide a competitive product against our international rivals in the lightweight food packaging sector. This presentation will go through the implementation of a Web Inspection System and the resulting insights this has provided and subsequent improvements made to raise the quality standard. It will also discuss the tension variation and sheet profile improvement with the installation of Cross Directional Grammage Control.
