摘要

This paper proposes a method to design a controller based on the right/left coprime factorization. In this method, the designer chooses the controller from the set of all stabilizing controllers based on some performance measures on the closed-loop transfer function. In comparison with other methods that work on closed-loop transfer functions such as H_∞ or H_2, the proposed method has a better and clearer insight into the system design procedure. The applicability of the method was shown in some case studies.
