Design of a Smart Storytelling Toy Based on Voice Interaction

With the rapid development of voice recognition technology, voice interaction is becoming more and more popular in everyday life. The application of voice interaction can greatly improve the user experience of toys. In this paper, we design a smart storytelling toy with both fun and educational features for young children. Voice interaction is leveraged to address the issue of the fast retrieval for massive audio files. In addition, emotional communication is introduced to the voice interaction design to attract children's attention and guide their behavior. Finally, the product design scheme including interaction design is implemented and validated through prototyping.
