The results of the investigation of the algorithm for measuring the angular position of two sources of an acoustic field are presented. The case is considered when the sources are within the width of the main lobe of the receiving antenna of directivity characteristic. The possibility of applying an algorithm for estimating the angular position for sources of both coherent and incoherent signals is shown. With a decrease in the angular distance between the radiation sources and with a decrease in the signal-to-noise ratio, a shift in the estimates of their angular coordinates may occur. This is caused by the non-linearity of signal conversion in the algorithm. To reduce the magnitude of the angle estimation offset, and also to reduce the mean square errors of the measured parameters, it is possible to average the control signal in the feedback loop. The studies confirmed the conclusion that the instrumental errors of the antenna and the receiving channels exert a significant influence on the magnitude of the displacement of the angular position estimates. The applied algorithm corrects such errors. The correction method is based on the joint determination of the source angular coordinates and instrumental errors. Estimation of additional parameters leads to a certain decrease in accuracy when measuring the coordinates of radiation sources. However, for small meter errors this decrease in accuracy is insignificant.
