Fuzzy Approach to Enhance Quality Control within Intelligent Traceability Systems

摘要

A traceability system records information, traces, and tracks a product. The trend last decade is to develop intelligent traceability system. However, the literature reveals that there is no unanimous version of intelligent traceability. Publications don't provide clear vision of such traceability, principally a typical definition and properties. Authors of this article presume, at least, intelligent traceability should have means to strengthen the safety of products throughout the entire supply chain. Accordingly, this article proposes a mean to reinforce the product quality control. This tool can be integrated with traceability functionalities. The designed system uses a fuzzy approach to assess the quality degradation during processing activities. Further, the suggested model intends to enhance the decision-making process in the supply chain.
