摘要

In this work, a geophysical heat conduction system in introduced and analyzed as a constrained numerical optimization problem. Based on this formulation, an efficient computational algorithm is developed which can be used to obtain numerical solutions. This algorithm is tested for several benchmark problems both in single as well as multi dimensions. Our numerical results establish that the computational algorithm developed is both robust and reliable, suggesting that they can be used in conjunction with practical data.
