摘要

Aging mechanism of Lithium Ion batteries has attracted of significance interests. In order to observe the effects of factors, cycling experiments are usually designed with standard operations, e.g., constant current, constant voltage charge. However, charge/discharge current of batteries are randomly distributed in practice. The estimation of the battery's capacity is different and complex under this situation. This paper applies the sample entropy to quantify the capacity information of non-standard operations. The proposed method is simpler and more efficient than the commonly cycle-count methods due to no assumption of charge/discharge profile is needed.
