摘要

This paper presents a solution method based on heuristics and a partial objective constraint to solve the vehicle and loader routing problem, a heterogeneous vehicle routing problem specifically to deliver heavy or large products. The model deals with several types of vehicles and their collaborative routing, prescribing vehicle routes, arrival and departing times. Due to its complexity and a large number of decision variables compared to conventional vehicle routing problems, a specially designed algorithm is required to solve large-scale instances. This paper develops a solution method based on constructive heuristics and presents computational tests to identify its performance.
